Started the year on exchange in the UK, ended it recovering from cancer treatment. In between: earned 4 professional certifications (Microsoft AI, SAP, Cultural Intelligence, Global Citizenship), joined youth advocacy councils, and kept showing up.
Some highlights that didn't make traditional resumes but defined my year:
→ Representing young people on the eSafety Youth Council
→ Contributing to Amnesty International's work
→ Supporting incoming students through orientation programs
→ Raising awareness for men's health during Movember
→ Learning that resilience isn't about avoiding hard things—it's about building through them
(And yes, I spent New Year's Eve to New Year's Day in the ER. 10/10 would not recommend, but at least I got a head start on my 2026 health goals? 😅)
Here's to a year that taught me more than any classroom could. Grateful for every person, opportunity, and challenge that shaped these 12 months.
